Februari 2016- : After delivering the market analysis and
businessplan to determine the optimal strategy for facing
the challenges in secure a solid market position in the
renewables market, The Energy Vision was chosen to
follow-up and implement the plan. By delivering hands-on
interim management, The Energy Vision provides its client
with real solutions that go beyond delivering a document
and financial model.
Concrete goals have been set for 2016. On behalf of the client

August 2015-Januari 2016: A top-five waste processing
company in the Netherlands now works with The Energy
Vision for re-evaluating their strategy for their renewable
energy ctivities and determining a winning proposition
within this field. This entails delving into the internal and
external forces, capturing the trends within the industry and
developing a vision about where the renewables are heading.
The Energy Vision was selected for the ability to combine

MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY MANDATE / MBO
May 2015: The Energy Vision is mandated to guide the
management through the process of an envisaged buy-out.
This entails a thourough reflection on the business' strategy,
financial forecasting and valuation as well as managing the
negotiation process with both seller and investor.
The clients name remains confidential for now. The company
is active in the energy savings / public services industry.

DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT
April 2015: The Energy Vision supports a developer of wind
projects in the negotiation of a development agreement and
land lease agreement.

INVESTING PLATFORM FOR THE FUTURE
March 2015: The Energy Vision is engaged as a founding
partner in setting up a renewable energy fund to launch
in Q2 2015. The fund will target HNI investors and stable
long term returns with an initial fund size of 10M EUR.
The fund aims to leverage on existing trust and real
hands-on project experience that goes beyond the use
of excel.

CRUNCHING THE NUMBERS
Februari 2015: Building a template valuation model for PV
investments and financings for one of our clients in the UK
market. The model has a easy-to-use feel and high flexibility
to fit project specific features.

CHALLENGING OUR CLIENTS BUSINESS CASE
Januari - March 2015: Assignment for a Dutch/Canadian urban
redevelopment company: feasibility study for an industrial
size PV project in conjunction with self usage.
Cutting through the complexity and giving clear-cut advise
on how the project can be realised.

SECURING ASSET MANAGEMENT QUALITY
Januari 2015: The Energy Vision assisted a Dutch renewable
energy investor in negotiating an O&M contract for a UK
Solar power plant. Closing was achieved in Februari 2015.
The contract secures a high performance ratio for the plant
for the long term that the plant is projected to operate.

BIRTH OF THE ENERGY VISION
Januari 2015: 2 years after founding Berkvens Energie B.V.
we have changed our name to The Energy Vision B.V to
expand our business into business development, specialty
consulting and investing services. This followed the period
in which the founder, Joost Berkvens, set up First Green
Capital and Unser E in Germany.
